Jesse James Reloads for stunts after bailing on racing in Off-Road events in Southern California

Jesse James, Mr. Sandra Bullock, has departed off-road racing by selling his Trophy Truck and dumping any thoughts of racing in Mexico or any other location in the off-road nation.

Press releases are now circulating news about the desert off-road race attempter, Jesse James new television try, about stunts. By stepping down to stunts, he gets paid up front and doesn't have to rely on his off-road race driving or 'build' lack of skills.

Rumors are saying James is in the market to buy another racing truck, but, those are only rumors. Until he shows up at the start line, will Baja Racing News.com believe any of it. James is just another so-cal 'been there-done that' poser, who did finish the '2007 Baja 1000 and then pitched the rig that got him across the line. That's no way to treat a ride that treated a driver, so well. Unless, of course, you have no intention to return to the start line.

Funny, James just weeks ago bad mouthed desert racers saying the regional races were too small for him. He also made fun of those not racing in Baja Mexico any longer, since the thousands of murders have taken over Mexico. Now James has sunk to stunts. Times are tough, he's got to make a living somehow! At least he's got work and he doesn't have to rely on scamming for builds. Wheeeew, that's a relief!

"Motorcycle designer Jesse James leaves the Monster Garage for the daredevil world in Spike's upcoming Jesse James Is a Dead Man, a series showing him attempting the death-defying stunts he's always wanted to try.

The series is still in production, and James has already broken two ribs, chipped his elbow and has been set on fire, resulting in "blisters down my ass crack," James said.

"Life is only a one-lap race," said James, explaining his interest in the show. Stunts in the 10-episode show include racing off-road in the Baja 500 or driving a Nitro-powered motorcycle at more than 200 miles per hour.

Some of the stunts are so fast and so violent they can't be captured effectively on film so producers said some of the shows use CGI effects to demonstrate the effects on James' body.

James said he's been doing stunts as a hobby since he was about 6 years old, when he and a cousin jumped off the roof of his house.

Asked what his wife (Sandra Bullock) thinks about his stunt-filled series, he quipped she sends him off to his shoots with "Break a leg!"

The series debuts May 31 at 10 p.m. In response to questions, James and channel executives said the series will carry "do not do this at home" type advisories. James is executive producer of the show from his company, Payupsucker Productions."
