Off-Road racer and pilot Slaughtered Murdered in La Paz, Baja Mexico South!

"La Paz, Baja California South .- 36 bullet wounds in the body with AK-47 rifle "goat horn", executed well known racer, Verdugo Héctor Manuel Talamantes, alias "El Tobi," 38 years of age, occupation air-pilot with a local air transport company, based in Los Cabos, Mexico. The killing occurred between 10:00 to 10:30 hours on February 10, at the corner of Avenida Santo Domingo and La Paz in the area of Bella Vista in this capital. The body remained at the wheel of the vehicle he was driving a Toyota Tundra, Model 2000, type Pick Up, white, plate movement ZMX 25-92 in the municipality of Los Cabos, which had 40 bullet wounds in their truck.

The vehicle was on the sidewalk across the street from Santo Domingo and was at the point of impact against the wall of the residence located in the corner, where they cornered the victim shot for a block and a half from his house. Koronis Parts Inc. (KPI) has acquired Beard Seats, Speed Industries and Speed Strap from RedArt Corporation effective January 1, 2009. Minnesota-based KPI (established in 1967) manufactures automotive, motorcycle, UTV and snowmobile parts and accessories internationally for OEM and the aftermarket.

These established brands, along with KPI’s 40 years of manufacturing expertise, will strengthen the brands and KPI’s presence in the automotive and UTV markets. RedArt Corporation & Timothy Sousamian will continue to be active within the KPI operation, with the focus on California operations, product development, sales & marketing.

La Rumorosa Closed Baja Racing News BULLETIN! Snow closes road. Original:Truck Tragedy Closes Road

UPDATE: The La Rumorsa grade was closed today, Tuesday, February 10. Officials expected the road to re-open late this afternoon.

Raul Bello, 35, died today, when he was driving and crashed his Pemex gasoline carrier on the infamous La Rumorosa grade in Baja California, between the towns of La Rumorsa and El Oasis.

The road was closed overnight and re-opened minutes ago. The east bound section of the grade was covered with fuel and burned debris.

At KM 54, with 62 million liters of petrol onboard, authorities say, he lost control of the rig and the crash caught fire, burning the victim to death. More details LOADING>>>

Gilman Springs, Banning

OFF-ROAD RACING SWEEP CONDUCTED

Riverside County sheriff's deputies conducted a sweep for illegal off-road racing Sunday in the Gilman Springs area northwest of San Jacinto.

The Riverside County Off-Highway Vehicle Enforcement Team cited 10 people and wrote seven warnings for illegal driving of all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes in the unincorporated hillsides off Gilman Springs Road and Ramona Expressway, according to a sheriff's report.

Additional sweeps are planned throughout Riverside County, sheriff's officials said.
