The meeting point and start line was Rancho Millán at kilometer 137 of the Ensenada-San Felipe road in the Valley of the Trinity, after the idea arose a few years ago about the mystical landscapes surrounding area Mike's Sky Ranch and is suitable for racing "off road".

This is a circuit 100 percent dirt, with many curves, in a planned route 31 kilometers and with a rise of more than 2,000 meters through wilderness areas and streams.

Organizers said that 2016 is a significant motorsports year, the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 is met, the return of Ford GT Le Mans is celebrated, in addition to the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the first race climb Pike's Peak in Colorado. This is also part of the event to honor the 50th anniversary of the 'SCORE' version of the Baja 1000 in Baja California, Mexico.

Robbie Gordon, one of the legends in motor racing,  also known as a champion in different series of Score International sanctioned racing. He created the concept of 'Super Trucks Stadium' racing, pushing for the growth of "off road" racing.

"In order type truck vehicles can be presented in a stadium type format and bring the excitement of these machines both asphalt and dirt, Mike's Peak Hill Climb Challenge is the best way to promote this concept," praised Gordon . At off-road racing held throughout this year in California, Florida, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, this series is now is now added in Baja California, Mexico, where it is expected the participation of many racers and a major drama for the sport and the region Trinidad Valley (Known by the racing community as, Valley T).

The finish line was located at Mikes Sky Rancho. Made famous by its hospitality, as well as its location.
