CODE Night Race ROCKS the desert

The almost full moon and perfect racing weather greeted thousands of desert racers and the greatest fans in the world on Friday, June 17 for contingency in Mexicali and Saturday, June 18 for the race near Laguna Salada over the weekend. On Friday, a strong cool breeze blew through the Salton Trough all day keeping the temperatures well below 99 degrees. Cool for June in Mexicali. Contingency was a terrific get-together for lots of fun-loving locals and the racers preparing to do battle, the following night.
