Great race, great times! Bonfires all over the place and lots of race fans!.
The course was similar from the last year event and also was using some sections of past races, the Laguna Salada terrain has some fast roads, sand, rock and some silt beds, the north loop and the last 15 miles as the more technical stuff. As a desert offroad race in Baja Mexico. Hundreds of locals hit the desert in the middle of the night and cheered on their racers-so the people watching and partying was terrific. The huge dry lake was open for racers and fans alike-lots of open spaces!
