BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND - DESERT TRUCKS RETURN TO CORR FOR FINAL TWO RACE WEEKENDS

At the Chula Vista International Off Raod Track at the Nissan Off Road Nationals on September 23-24, and The Nissan Shootout at the Otay Corral on October 21-22.

“The desert racers and trucks that compete in classes’ 7-7S and 1400-1450 provided the fans with a great show during the inaugural CORR races in Chula Vista last fall,” said Ken Zapp of Championship Off Road Racing. “Since then, we’ve been impressed by the groundswell of interest from the off road community and the enthusiasm of these racers, which convinced CORR to sanction the final four races of this season,” Zapp continued. “As for next year? We will definitely be watching the race truck turnout, on-track competition and fan reaction to this year’s events very closely.”

Desert classes 7S and 1450 will compete together to kick off the Nissan Off Road Nationals on September 23-24. Each day will conclude with the combined desert classes 7 and 1400 providing racers and fans alike with even more off-road excitement and entertainment value. To keep things interesting, CORR will payback 100% of the registration fees to the top four in each race, keeping driver motivation high and the competition intense.

Drivers can register for both a CORR license (required) and each race weekend online now at the CORR website (utilize “Sportsman Single Event” entry).
