SCORE BAJA 1000 CORRECTION....

Richard Lancaster in Class 22 for open motorcycles drew the pole position.

Lancaster, 29, Santa Margarita, Calif., will lead 22 entries (to date) in Class 22 for open motorcycles on the No. 2x Honda XR650R. His additional riders are Peter Hardy, Pozo, Calif., John Kaisersatt, Los Osos, Calif., Fred Jowett, Atascadero, Calif., and Chris Whalley, Topanga, CA.

Originally, the Robby Bell, 21, Murrieta, Calif. and the American Honda factory No. 1x Honda CRF450X team were announced as first off the line for the motorcycle and ATV classes. Rather, in the live drawing held Saturday at the Lake Elsinore (Calif.) Casino, the No. 1x motorcycle drew the fifth starting position in its class. Bell's talented teammates are Kendall Norman, Santa Barbara, Calif., Johnny Campbell, San Clemente, Calif., and Steve Hengeveld, Hesperia, CA.""

THE ORIGINAL BAJA RACING NEWS REPORT

Reports to Baja Racing News.com indicate the Class 22 Bike pull, reported by SCORE, via their press releases and now every news source around the world, are wrong.

SCORE gave 1x (Robby Bell) 'first draw position' for Class 22 Bikes but he didn't pull the position. He pulled the 5th position. 1x keeps his number for the year but this is not the order he is starting in. We hope SCORE will correct this.

The 9x Red Bull-KTM Team will be Quinn Cody, David Pearson, Cyril Despres and the 4th rider will be announced soon.
