Baja Racing News.com Hot Girls and Cold Beers!

Baja Racing News.com is reporting on the 100 Years of Off-Road milestones in Baja racing this month. Have we found a gem!

Hot Girls and Cold Beer! 1932 FORD COUPE BAJA RACER!

Very Hot Girls and Very Cold Beers! Only found at the Original Adelitas in Tijuana. The Adelita Cantina, usually found by explorers in their hired Tijuana Taxi. This 1932 Ford Five-Window Coupe was ordered new by the former President of Mexico, Roque González Garza. He gave this Five-Window Coupe to his son, who modified it by balancing and blueprinting the flathead V8.

He fitted a set of Edelbrock cylinder heads and a pair of Stromberg carburettors. Raced in many Baja races and apparently raced throughout Mexico and southern Texas. Eventually President Garza’s grandson placed the car in storage for several decades. The Ford still has the period race numbers and lettering and although they are badly worn, they ooze patina. And what’s more… the Ford will still make it to Tijuana! And double quick at that!
