From the SCORE press release:
"It’s the oldest and most well known of all desert races, since 1967, the Granddaddy of all desert races has been run over the mysterious Baja California peninsula." What a crock of horse manure. The 'Granddaddy' of all desert races started in 1908. Not 1967. That's like saying the car was invented in 1967. And off-roaders have been eating from this trough like sow heading for slaughter ever since. Now you are
victims of your own laziness. The recent shooting of a Baja racer and attempted cover-up by SCORE, proves it.

SCORE International has been caught red-handed on several occasions, right here on the rag, screwing the pooch.
Big Fat Lies from the press release:
"With massive crowds reaching nearly 300,000 anticipated to again be spread out along the rugged course". An experienced crowd counting firm places the actual numbers at maybe 50,000!

"This year’s Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race will be televised on a delayed basis as a one-hour NBC Sports special for the fifth consecutive year, scheduled to air at 1 p.m. (EST) on Sunday, Dec. 14 on the NBC Television Network. It will also air on a delayed basis outside of the U.S. on ESPN International." If this was such an important sporting event, it would be TV Broadcast way before f-ing December 14! What a Joke!

Volkswagen. Your German national bank recently downgraded GM stock. Nice teamwork Germany. Proof the United States of America should have never funded the Marshall Plan. In fact, next time we'll just waste Europe. Now you're here trying to sell us $40,000 Touaregs? With diesel engines? Piss-Off! Buy American Trucks, support Americans.

BFGoodrich. A French company. Now, we like the new leadership in France, so we'll be easy on you. Buy American tires, built by American companies and people. Unless you like France. F-You.

Both of these off-shore companies are here for your money and don't care if American racers die on a Baja Mexican race course to do it. Either does SCORE.

Hope everyone is clear on why Baja Racing News.com is infamous. We do it the old fashioned way, we earn it.

Keep drinking the Kool-Aid desert off-road fans, because, until one of these selfish,
control freaked corporations pays for live television, Baja Racing News.com gets to pump out the media snausages! Welcome to the New America.
