OFF-ROAD RACING SWEEP CONDUCTED
Riverside County sheriff's deputies conducted a sweep for illegal off-road racing Sunday in the Gilman Springs area northwest of San Jacinto.
The Riverside County Off-Highway Vehicle Enforcement Team cited 10 people and wrote seven warnings for illegal driving of all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes in the unincorporated hillsides off Gilman Springs Road and Ramona Expressway, according to a sheriff's report.
Additional sweeps are planned throughout Riverside County, sheriff's officials said.
