Writers & Broadcasters Association AWARD Rob MacCachren 2010 AUTO RACING ALL-AMERICA First Team HONORS!

Las Vegas Racer Earns his 3rd Career All America First Team and 5thAARWBA Award in racing career!

Las Vegas, Nevada --For the fifth time in his 28-year racing career, Rob MacCachren has been named to the AUTO RACING All-America Team for his outstanding performance in off road racing in 2010. This year marks MacCachren's 3rdtime being named to the AUTO RACING All-America FIRST Team.

The 2010 All-America Auto Racing Team has been chosen by members of the nation's motorsports press. The team includes the largest group ever named to the First Team, 21 drivers, as a result of the addition of a new category this year by the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association.

Joining a historic group of winning racers, MacCachren was named the first ever Off Road & Rally Category first team racer. In previous years, AARWBA awarded Rob MacCachren in the "At Large" category for his outstanding performance in the Off Road motorsports. In 2010, the AARWBA created an Off Road / Rally specific category and hence the first nominee and winner named is Rob MacCachren.

"Racing is my life and my passion. I love to race, win and be involved in the sport. I'm happy for my team to be honored with this prestigious award from the AARWBA as there are many working components to a successful team. We couldn't be here without the tremendous support from our marketing partners who continue to work side-by-side with us in our racing endeavors. ROCKSTAR Energy Drink, BFGoodrich Tires, Mastercraft Safety and many others have all helped us to create a world-class championship winning team," said MacCachren.

The new Off Road & Rally category produced the only tie in the voting, resulting in a four-member First Team. Vote leader Rob MacCachren is the one familiar face, earning his fifth All-America nod, his third on the First Team -- in previous years chosen in the At Large category. MacCachren won in four different off-road series and leads the Pro 2 Unlimited class in the Lucas Off-Road Racing Series where he has won eight times. He has also won in TORC, SCORE and SNORE races.

Rob MacCachren and his ROCKSTAR Energy Racing team head to the final race weekend of the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Series in Phoenix, Arizona on December 11-12, 2010 where the #21 ROCKSTAR Energy Racing Ford F-150 will take the track as the 2010 Lucas Oil Pro2WD Champion.
