TSCO is Tube Specialties Co, Inc. They are the parent company of Thermal Armor and produce all the Thermal Armor Chrome stacks in their Oregon plant. TSCO owners and drivers, Gary and Mark Weyhrich, have been long time desert racers and have supported the "TSCO Vegas to Reno" race each year put on by "Best in the Desert". They have raced in many classes, and now compete in the "elite" Trophy or Trick Truck Class. In 2007, Gary and Mark were the overall winners of this race, having the fasted time of all vehicles entered.
The "TSCO Vegas to Reno" race, traverses almost 500 miles of harsh desert terrain, as it winds north from the Vegas area toward Reno Nevada. It encompasses hot dusty valleys, rough rock filled trails, and tree lined mountain roads, as it makes it's way to the finish. It will take the top racers 9 hours or more to complete. A tough task for any vehicle, driver or rider!
