Holland America Westerdam Holed Up in San Diego, Blocked from visiting Ensenada Baja, Mexico

Ensenada Impacted by the Mexican Port Authority Blocking Holland America, Westerdam

Dateline San Diego, CA.- Shipping authorities left the Westerdam cruiser on the Holland America line out of activity for 14 days to undergo sanitation processes to ensure safety on future trips, as it affected their destinations to the Republic of Mexico.

The president of the Mexican Association of Tourist Cruises, José Arturo Mussi, announced that the cruise that would arrive at Ensenada, Baja California, on the Mexican Pacific coast.

The cruise vessel detected a possible case of covid-19 coronavirus. “By denying a Mexican port arrival, the route to Mazatlan was cancelled. The important cruise ship has now been ordered onto a new cruise route. The tourism of three Mexican communities has now been impacted".
