Dam Break Reported!

Presumed to have been due to excess water due to rains. A dam located in the San Vicente delegation, at the Consuelo Ajusco B.C., ranch collapsed.
According to official information issued by the Directorate of Municipal Public Security, at 03:15 pm it was reported that in the vicinity of kilometer 91, they requested to evict a neighbouring road, due to a break of a dam with an area of 1.6 hectares, 30 to 40 meters deep, with approximately 410 million litres of water.
Therefore, officials seconded to the area evicted inhabitants of the Rancho Cervantes, which adjacent with the neighborhood road to Berrenda. Later, at approximately 04:43 hours, the dam collapse was recorded.
The water reached the bridge of San Vicente, apparently without doing any damage or affecting the vehicle transit, due to the channel being through the creek. The dam 'break'-up is presumed to have been due to excess water, due to the recent rainfall.
