BAJA RACING Hall Of Fame announces induction plans.

Guillermo "Willy" Granados Guzmán (QEPD) is recognized as the Baja driver/racer, 'troquero', who traveled the most throughout the history of racing in lower California, the entire peninsula, a record that was reflected in the magazine 'Tractocamión'.
 
Granados Guzmán passed away day before yesterday, after losing his battle with cancer, an event that is mourned throughout the racing community in Baja California, Mexico. His native Santo Tomás, a delegation in which he is considered a monument of pride for his achievements at the wheel.



 
The Ensenada racer also participated in different editions of the Baja Rally de Mexican 1000, having as his co-pilot his brother-in-law Jaime Palafox Toscano (QEPD), reaffirming himself with this data that he was an ace of the wheel on pavement and dirt roads.


The Baja Racing Hall Of Fame announced today, the 2020 Induction Ceremony will green flag on June 27 at 5PM on

This afternoon the last goodbye to Don "Willy" Granados was given in the Jardín Modelo pantheon, where his remains rest.  His funeral was well attended by friends, family and the racing community. Rest in peace amigo!
