UPDATE BULLETIN June 26:

"On Saturday June 12, 2021 during the SCORE Baja 500 Nic was involved in a head on collision with a UTV vehicle while riding his motorcycle. The accident took place on a local dirt road roughly 15 miles east of the HWY 1 between Llano Colorado and Valle De Trinidad. Nic was riding westbound on the road to transfer through the mountains and meet me at our scheduled rider change north of Santo Tomas. Nic and the UTV collided head on around a blind corner. Nic sustained multiple fractures and dislocation in his left wrist, along with fractures in both femurs. The status of the UTV occupants is unknown. Luckily, Nic received help from Shane Redline, Cameron Steele and team facilitating his transportation heading back into the US.   Nic had both femurs surgically repaired with cannulated femoral rods Sunday morning. Everything went well and he can already bear weight on them! Yesterday he underwent surgery to repair the fractures in his wrist".

Scam Cameron Steele has told the public, "this is not a race related incident". More Lies!

In 2009, Robby Gordon won by mere minutes, BJ Baldwin physically crossed the finish line first. [This was also the first Baja race EVER to have LIVE! ONLINE VIDEO at the finish line in Ensenada, BC.]

Here's a view of the 2008 500 Start we haven't seen in while...

At 7:45 PM Luke was leading Andy by seconds. At a location, 10 minutes from the finish line, Luke missed a turn and decided to RUN OVER FANS CAMPING AREAS to get back on the race course...Council of Ensenada, SCORE and Roger Norman are GUILTY of RACE COURSE NEGLIGENCE.

10 Minutes from the finish line, there are no race course markers at this location to assist the fans, nor assist the racers.

As stated by the video poster, "Luke McMillin [runs over a tent and pop-up] takes home camping in Piedras Gordas 10 minutes from the finish line. In his desperation to [stay ahread of Andy], he [missed a turn on the un-marked race course] lost control of his Trophy and, not wanting to waste time, he ran over the camping houses of these fans."

7:30 PM Luke and Andy are one minute apart, heading into the checkered flag...15 minutes out... STAY TUNED

THE SCORE SHINGLE AND TRADENAME BAJA 500
This year’s BAJA 500, is returning to its home in Ensenada after being moved last year and held in September in San Felipe because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The BAJA 500 was started originally in 1969 by the NORRA organization. Mickey Thompson and his racing sanction named "SCORE International", once called 'Southern California Off Road Enterprises', invited himself to take over the event starting in 1974, after the Mexican authorities threw the Pearlman family and the shingle "NORRA" out of Mexico.

Sal Fish ran and later owned and produced the SCORE version of the BAJA 500 for 39 years until he sold the California corporation named "SCORE", in December of 2012, to Nevadan Roger Norman.

SCORE International was previously a California Corporation registered with the State of Nevada Secretary of State, which was forever revoked in April, 1983, under Sal Fish. (Confirmed in a lawsuit against Roger Norman and SCORE by the estate of Mark and Holly Luhtalla. 2019)

Today, the entire American company and their marketing arm, "Promote Mexico", is paper based in the capital of the State of Nevada, Reno. The second home of owner Roger Norman, in San Diego and the SCORE International/Norman Motorsports "shop", is based at east county San Diego, in El Cajon, California.

Today, the Mexican SCORE personel and operations in country are based in Ensenada, Baja California.

The first Baja 500 organized and produced by SCORE was held on July 26, 1974 in Ensenada as the first of over 150 "SCORE Baja" races.

After being held last year because of the COVID-19  pandemic in San Felipe for just the second time in race history, this year’s SCORE Baja 500 will start for the 47th time in Ensenada and finish for the 43rd time in Ensenada.

Spectators will not be allowed to enter the mechanical review of the 53rd edition of the Baja 500 in the Ensenada bypass (now called the compound), following the health protocols by the Covid-19 that are demanded by the Government of Baja California, the Secretariat of Health of Baja California and the XXIII City Council of Ensenada.

On Friday, June 11 from 8 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon will be the contingency for the different categories of motorcycles and cars,  few members of the participating teams, staff will have access.

All previous Score events in Baja California have been in the same format due to the health scare of virus laden gringos who refuse the health protocols, 2 of them have been in San Felipe and 1 was in Ensenada.
