Baja Racing News-ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico— ‘Monsters of the Midway’, 33 Baja Racing Trucks are ready to roar in this week’s 2nd BAJA RACE, LIVE! ONLINE presented by the Mac Meda Destruction Company.

BAJA RACING TRUCK!
The marquee Baja Racing division for high-tech, 1000 horsepower, unlimited custom trucks was made famous on Mexico’s blood spattered, home of the blood-sport, the State of Baja California, Mexico.

BAJA RACING LIVE! THIS WEEK
The youngest race in the long and storied over 50-year history of gringo's in Mexico off-road racing - will be held this week, (Sept. 14-19) LIVE! ONLINE at BajaRacingNews.com from Ensenada, Baja-Mexico.

CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC START/FINISH
Because of the significant health and safety BioSecurity protocols developed by the State of Baja California Health Department of Mexicali, B.C. for the gringo races of SCORE, all race-week festivities and the start/finish line compound will be restricted access only and closed to the general public. Mentioned in this news article as the "SCORE-COVID Compound".

""Spectators, adhering to the protocols, will be allowed to watch the race from around the 400-mile race course."" This is the Official SCORE Statement to spectators, that's it!

Well, Baja Racing News has an update for 'THE CARTEL', Roger Norman/SCORE/Jackson Motorsports/BFGoodrich Tires/MICHELIN.

Here's the Official Statement from the Rotary Club of Southern Ensenada:

["The Mexican people are a free people. We are free to take over your mis-managed race course and to conduct commerce, in whatever form, to provide safety and security for ourselves and our families from your death races."]

QUALIFYING ON WEDNESDAY
for starting positions within their respective classes on a special 5.37-mile course will be held on Wednesday (Sept. 15), starting at 8 AM PDT. Classes that will be qualifying for the BAJA RACE 2021 are Baja Racing Truck, Baja Racing Truck Legend, the Unlimited Class 1 and the Baja Racing Truck Spec class.

MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY
Roaring through the Baja off-road terrain with the hunger of gasoline fuel power, the 40-Baja Racing Truck field for this year’s second annual, BAJA RACE includes 20 racers who have combined to win 88 of the 136 races in the history of the featured Baja Truck Class.

Enjoying its 2021 season at the forefront of the sport, this year’s field also includes six racers who have combined to win the Baja Racing Truck season point championship in 13 of the first 27 campaigns.

‘Hall Of Famer’ in Baja Racing Truck is Las Vegas own Rob MacCachren with 17 all-time Baja Racing Truck race wins. The ‘SMac Attack’ is the racer in the history of off-road racing with more than 300 class victories in multiple classes in the desert, short-course and stadium off-road racing, the Baja Racing Hall Of Fame Inductee MacCachren has also won three Baja Racing Truck season point titles (1994, 2007-with Mark Post, and 2018). He drives the No. 11 BFGoodrich Tires sponsored Ford F-150 (built by Geiser Brothers).

Also entered are three of the four racers tied for second in career Baja Racing Truck race wins with 11 victories each are second-generation racers Robby Gordon and Tim Herbst along with third-generation desert racer Andy McMillin.

Another Baja Racing Hall Of Fame inductee, Robby Gordon, Charlotte, N.C., who has had racing success also in IndyCar, NASCAR, Rally and Stadium, drives his No. 77 Chevy Silverado built by his own R. Gordon race shop. He has two career Baja Racing Truck season point titles (1996 and 2009). Gordon wasn't inducted into the 'Gringo' hall of fame until the Baja Racing Hall Of Fame induction shamed the industry into acknowledging Robby's greatness. We basically shoved Jackson Motorsports noses into the pile of dog crap that is, the gringo ORMHOF.

Another Las Vegas resident, Tim Herbst pilots his No. 19 Ford F-150 built by Herbst/Smith Fab. Sharing the driving duties with Herbst will be fellow-Las Vegan Pat Dean who has one career Baja Racing Truck race victory Herbst and his older brother Ed Herbst earned four Baja Racing Truck season point crowns over a five-year period (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003).

San Diego’s Andrew 'Andy' McMillin, son of former Baja Racing Champion Scott McMillin and grandson of the late Corky McMillin, leads the 2021 SCORE Trophy Truck season point standings in his No. 31 Chevy Silverado built by Mason Motorsports. He has a second and third place finish in the two races so far this season. He also won the 2019 SCORE Trophy Truck season point champion while finishing second in the inaugural Baja Race in 2019.

MORE "MONSTERS OF THE MIDWAY"
Leading the next wave of Baja Racing Truck "MONSTERS" entered in this race are Bryce Menzies, and Gus Vildosola, is it Jr. or Sr., who cares? with six career race wins, Larry Roeseler with five and Ryan Arciero who has four career Baja Racing Truck race victories.

Menzies, also of Las Vegas Nevada USA, was the 2011 Baja Racing Truck season point champ while also winning the 2011 "SCORE Rookie of the Year Award". Which really isn't saying very much! He pilots the AWD No.7 Ford Raptor built by Mason Motorsports. He opened the 2021 campaign by winning the Baja Racing - San Felipe 250.

Part of the most prominent Mexican racing team in Baja Racing, Vildosola Jr, of Mexicali, has returned to full-time competition and drives his No. 21 Ford Raptor built by the team’s Vildosola Racing shop.

Larry Roesler, in Baja Racing both on two-wheels and four-wheels, Roeseler, Boulevard, Calif. will be driving the No. 43 Baja Jerky Toyota Tundra built by ID Designs. Roeseler also won last year’s Baja Racing -Baja 1000 as the second driver for Luke McMillin.

Arciero, Foothill Ranch, Calif., returns as the defending Baja Race 2019 overall winner from the last Baja Race, as the event was cancelled in 2020 because of the SCORE-COVID health pandemic. In this year’s race he will be the second driver for Mike Walser, Comfort, Texas, in the No. 89 Mason-built Chevy Silverado.

Congrats to Arciero for coming back after burning down his last Baja Racing Truck at the Best In The Desert Vegas To Reno 2020. He won last months V2R 2021 with his new Baja Racng Truck.

Entering this year’s BAJA RACE, Roeseler is second in SCORE Trophy Truck points behind TOYO TIRES Andy McMillin and Tavo-Vildosola is third at the midway point in the 2021 season. And, you know what that means, Jackson Motorsports is getting big Baja-blowjobs from Roger Norman!

TAVO VILDOSOLA
Who bought the truck? Daddy did! So he'll be driving it to shit, first. Joining his son at the starting line will be Tavo Vildosola Mexicali with three career Baja Racing Truck race wins. Gus, Sr., we call him "Daddy", will be the driver of record in this race to debut his sparkling new AWD No. 12 Ford Raptor built by Mason Motorsports.

Splitting the driving with him will be Trophy Truck destroyer Ricky Johnson, from Trabuco Canyon, California. Ricky is WANTED and on the Run! No, we really mean the destruction of racing trucks, driving them until they can't be driven!

In 2010 Vildosola teamed with his son as the son/father team became the first Mexican nationals to capture the overall and Baja Racing Truck in the iconic Baja Racing - Baja 1000 peninsula race from Ensenada to La Paz, Baja South. La Paz is the Capital Of Off-Road, just sayn'!

DOUBLE TROUBLE
Father and son Juan C. Lopez and Carlos ‘Apdaly’ Lopez, of Tecate, Mexico and first Mexican team to  have earned two career Baja Racing Truck race wins. The Lopez father/son have won once together and once separately. For this race the family duo will race together in their No. 9 custom-built Ford Raptor.

CAMMY STEELE, the shame continues

The cross-dressing, lip stick wearing Cammy Steele, San Clemente, Calif. who also thinks in his own mind he's "a universal renown super-powered high professional, one-and-only action sports TV announcer" and does the slimy intro and close for the SCORE race TV shows, will be driving his No. 16 Desert Assplay Ford Raptor built by Geiser Brothers, to another loser finishing position, after he cries about his daughter. Again!

Cameron Steele has killed so many of his friends in his desert racing exploits, he named his team, the Desert 'Assassins'.

McMILLINS RETURN TO BAJA AFTER BAD STUFF HAPPENED AT THE 500 - DISQUALIFICATION
If one McMillin racer wasn’t enough to compete against, the SCORE World Desert Championship includes Andy McMillin’s cousins Daniel McMillin and Luke McMillin. Carrying the banner of the Big Blue M racing hype machine, Daniel and Luke each have one career Baja Racing Truck race wins and Luke is the reigning Baja Racing Truck season point champion.
Does Norman hold grudges? Roger really has it out for Andy and BJ Baldwin, huh?!

MORE SINGLES
Also part of the field in this race with one career Baja Racing Truck race win each are brothers Alan and Aaron Ampudia, Ensenada, Mexico, Josh Daniel, Vista, Calif., Rick D. Johnson, Barstow, Calif. and Eduardo Laguna, Mexicali. Laguna won the only Norman Baja Sewer event, when the tourism director called Roger "A Liar", after Rob Mac, missed a turn, DOH!

AMPUDIA IMPUDENCE FROM THE 500 STILL ON THE TABLE - THEY COULD HAVE KILLED MANY

The Ampudia brothers will again race together while the other three will be the second driver for their respective Baja Racing Trucks. Daniel is teamed with Justin 'Can't Drive' Matney, Bristol, Tenn., Johnson will split the driving with Rolf Helland, Morris, Ill., in Baja Racing Truck Legend, and Laguna will be the additional driver for Mario Fuente, Juarez, Mexico in the unlimited Class 1.

KEN BLOCK REPORTEDLY WANTS OUT OF THE MONSTER DEAL WITH THE IMPUDENT AMPUDIAS

Stay tuned to Baja Racing News for more info on this BREAKING NEWS STORY>>>

POSSIBLE NEW NAMES MARRING THE RACE RECORD
Nothing is for certain in the 2021 Baja Race especially when 40 "MONSTERS" hammer their way over the off-road terrain of the Baja Mexico peninsula. While 20 of the 40 entries in the Baja Racing Truck Class have tasted victory in the premier desert racing class, several other contenders will be in contention for coveted spots on the podium.

Youth may be served with the likes of 16-year-old Jax Redline, San Antonio, Texas and 17-year- old Madix Bailey, Riverside, Calif., in the starting grid.
Then there are cagey veterans, with new tires - 'shoes' like Justin Lofton, Brawley, Calif., another moldy veteran Dan Myers, Newport Beach, Calif., another race vet Mike Lawrence, Banning, Calif. and experienced Eric Hardin, Orange, Calif.

Adding even more questions to the Baja Racing mix is from the COVID Capital of Arizona Dave Taylor, Paige, Ariz., who has recruited Sara Price, Canyon Country, Calif. as his second driver. Price, who's also competing this year in the new world class of incredibly boring Formula-E Off-Road Series of electric SUVs returns to Baja Racing as the 2019 Baja Racing Truck Spec season champion.

More competition will come from Dakar Rally racer AJ Jones, Litchfield Park, Ariz., whose father Jesse Jones, who won the 2010 SCORE Trophy Truck season point championship, may end up as a second driver for his talented son. Easy to see, anything is possible when these Baja Racing ‘Monsters of the Midway’ start their engines.

MORE Mini-MONSTERS

Racing in Pro UTV FI (Forced Induction) class is the team of Brandon Schueler, 32, Phoenix and Las Vegas’ third-generation desert racer Cayden MacCachren, 19. The pair won their class in in the San Felipe 250 that saaw a record 33 starters in their class and backed that up with a third-place podium spot in Round 2 in Ensenada in their No. 2919 Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo. MacCachren is son of legendary Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame inductee Rob MacCachren. San Felipe was the younger MacCachren’s first official Baja Race as a driver.

Leading the Baja Racing Truck Spec class is the team of veteran Ryan Hancock, 45, Yuma, Ariz. and young gun Brock Heger, 21, El Cajon, Calif. in their No. 228 TSCO-Ford. With back-to-back second place class finishes, Hancock is a car dealer in Yuma, and Heger is also a star in short-course off-road racing. In Pro UTV FI points is the team of Phil Blurton, Auburn, Calif. and Beau Judge, Rockland, Calif. and second in Baja Racing Truck Spec is Jason McNeil, El Cajon, Calif. with 244 points each so far this season. A new Baja Racing team, the Blurton/Judge pairing a champion UTV duo in the U.S. in their No. 2944 Can-Am X3. McNeil, a veteran Baja Racing contestant, leads his family team with a sixth-place finish and a class win in their class in their No. 234 Geiser-Chevy. Fifth overall and third in the Pro UTV FI class is Austin Weiland, 28, of El Cajon, who has racked up 241 points in his No. 2954 Can-Am X3 UTV. He has class finishes of second and fifth so far this season.

KING OF BAJA.com 2021

With 240 points, sixth overall and leading the Baja Racing Season is San Diego’s Andy McMillin, 33 in his No. 31 Big Blue M all-wheel drive Mason-built Chevy Silverado.

BAJA RACING SEASON DETAILS

Seventh in overall points and third in Baja Racing Truck Spec points with 236 is Jason Coleman, 36, of Huntington Beach, Calif.  Coleman earned his first Baja Racing class win when he defeated a Baja Racing-record field of 34 starters in the Baja Racing Truck Spec class at the 2021 San Felipe 250, presented by Ford. He finished 14th in class in the Baja Racing Baja 500 in his No. 292 Chevy-powered Herbst/Smith-built truck. There is a three-way tie after two races for eighth place in overall points between Larry Roeseler, Mike Cafro and Wes Miller with 235 points each. The Baja Racing legend-in-his-own-mind, Roeseler, 64, Boulevard, Calif., drives in Baja Racing Truck where he finished 11th in class in the season-opening 2021 Baja Racing San Felipe 250 and was the overall and Baja Racing Truck gift-taker from Roger Norman and BFG Tires at the 2021 Baja Racing Baja 500 in the No. 43 Baja Jerky Cantina Racing Toyota Tundra. Cafro, 51, Fallbrook, Calif., who also has class finishes of fifth and fourth in the Pro UTV FI class in his No. 2975 Polaris Turbo S with Jamie Kirkpatrick, 39 of Olympia, Wash. as his second driver. With third and fifth-place finishes in Pro UTV FI, Miller, 51, Las Vegas drives his No. 2989 Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo.

PRE-RUNNING

Pre-running physically begins at race mile 33.43 and ends at race mile (RM) 366.64. The first 33.43 miles, which will be used in both directions during the race, will be available for pre-running only on Thursday (Sept. 16) and Friday (Sept. 17) and only in the outbound direction.

The official post-draw starting list for the "SCORE" portion of the race-show, qualifying order entry list, Racer’s Brief, Course Notes, GPS files and Penalty Brief, [LINK HERE, will be posted on this page]. C'mon! We all know SCORE Internationals race events are run by only one thing, Rogers Mistakes!

NOW WE'RE FUCKED!
The race features a course designed, plotted and marked by the indicted co-conspirator SCORE President/Race Director Jose A. Grijalva, of 400 miles of rugged Baja California terrain. Running in a clockwise direction, the race will start and finish without spectators in the SCORE-COVID Compound on the Northeast side of Ensenada.

THE RACE COURSE DESCRIPTION
The race features an impressive course of 400 miles. It runs west to Ojos Negro then south down the middle and then up the Pacific Coast side of Baja California, Mexico.

CLICK HERE FOR A GOOGLE MAPS VERSION OF THE 2nd BAJA RACE HERE

There are two physical checkpoints, 138 virtual checkpoints including two narrow virtual checkpoints for this race course. It also has 13 speed zones for a total of 64.08 miles. The two physical, full-stop checkpoints—Checkpoint 1 will be located at race mile 94.2 at Independencia and Checkpoint 2 will be at rm 228.82 at the end of the crossover road at Llano Colorado.

The race-course goes east through Ojos Negros and then begins its Southern journey through Tres Hermanos, east to Highway 3, south through El Alamo, Leyes De Reforma and south through Valle de Trinidad. From there it winds its way back towards the Pacific Ocean going over the hill at Mike’s Sky Rancho, and then through a new crossover section to Checkpoint 2 and south to make a loop just in north of Colonet. The course than parallels and draws close to the Pacific Ocean going through San Vicente, Santo Tomas and Uruapan before heading back northeast up to Tres Hermanos, Ojos Negros and back to the finish line, outside of the city of Ensenada, to the SCORE-COVID Compound, away from the public so they don't catch the gringo disease.

BAJA RACE GREEN FLAG
The 2021 Baja Race will be an elapsed-time race with staggered starts as the green flag on Saturday (Sept. 18) will drop first for the motorcycles and quads at 6 a.m. (PDT) and approximately 10 a.m. (PDT) for the cars, trucks and UTVs. While the fastest vehicles are expected to finish in around eight and one-half hours, all vehicles will have a 20-hour time limit to become official finishers in the race.

THE DEATH FIELD
Over 200 vehicles are expected at the start line for this second-time Baja Race with participants looking for death from all over the bloodthirsty world.

SCORE Blowjob Sponsor BFGoodrich Tires has posted a US$5,000 contingency bonus for the overall 4-wheel race winner to help commemorate this second "Baja Death Race" on the SCORE schedule. Who's Gonna Die, Todd?
