>>>NOW! BREAKING NEWS!>>>
-THREE REPORTED DEAD, TOTAL, AT THIS RACING EVENT
Update June 12: "Secrecy is now a major part of the SCORE-International scheme. Without the cover-ups, racing in Baja Mexico cannot exist", said John Chatsworth of the Burnham Center for Community Advancement.
Major news from Baja Racing News Publications came Friday, June 10. CLICK HERE FOR THE HEADLINES.
Update June 10: "the families of the dead children have been paid and for the moment, agreed to keep things quiet. Because the feelings of the townspeople of Ensenada are this, 'if there are any more public deaths from the gringo racers, racing WILL get shut down, forever". From the authorities.
"The next planned changes are campgrounds, tents, circus-style tents out in Ojos". From the civil protection jefe of the State of Baja California.
One member of the family, who is talking to BajaRacingNews.com said this late Thursday, June 9: "We are hurting today, but will get more information to you, tomorrow".
Update June 8: "Civil Protection is responsible for reporting out the human toll of this race".
The State of Baja California Civil Protection offices, here in Ensenada confirm: "the RED ALERT incident involving the Terrible Herbst Motorsports team KILLED two youngsters. One six and one twelve-years old."
Confirmed, Tuesday, June 7.
-CODE RED REPORTING FROM ENSENADA LOADING NOW>>>
###
*Pierce Herbst reportedly strikes five spectators, killing two.
"Civil Protection based in Ensenada confirms two spectators died in the desert outside of San Felipe. 'Mexicali is processing the bodies'".
One of the reasons the reporting on this CODE RED is taking so long, three different jurisdictions are handling paperwork and undertaking.
Ensenada, because the race event is based in the Ensenada municipality. San Felipe, because the emergency service response was from there and Mexicali, because the state capital is Mexicali and the State of Baja California offices of Civil Protection executives operate out of that city.
During the CODE RED: "BFGoodrich Tires medic at Pit 1 reports two dead".
###
-Dan Myers Baja Racing truck co-driver Number 6, Dan Myers co-driver suffers heat stroke during the racing competition!
The first reports of "died" came from the crackheads...
Crackhead Dan200 said:
"I thought I read it ended up just being a panic attack and he was ok? He was going in and out of consciousness. You might be right but I haven't heard any follow up beyond speculation. Our guys were afraid he was gonna die."
The team reported:
"Our co-driver had a medical emergency that needed immediate attention, he was driven down the summit and was airlifted to a hospital. He is now out of the hospital and well. Dan Myers went on to finish the race."

Sunday, June 5:
A cloudy start to the morning here in Ensenada. After the overnight racing, our in-town sources are gathering up their notes and we're set to meet up for a 9AM meeting at the Riviera, for unofficial results posting and then back to our office for an editorial meeting, to draft details of what happened during this race event.
We
far prefer storylines and pictures of happy, smiling people. But, until
changes are evident in the operations of these SCORE events, our "Who's Gonna Die" reporting is driving enlightenment and needed change.
Congratulations Sr. Presidente!
First, it needs to be said, the Ensenada town leadership needs to be applauded for finally putting the starts to these events, the competitive starts, outside of town.
Thank you Sr. Presidente and everyone involved.
Second, we don't like it, but since SCORE and Roger were unwilling to ensure the safety of the public, we understand it had to be done.
Third, our racing public needs to understand, these events could have continued racing through town. But Roger wasn't willing to put the effort into keeping the racing in the olde fashion way it existed for decades.
Now, we have ceremonial-parade starts. The State of Baja Sur has been doing this style of racing events for many years. The recent changes ensure the safety of the public.
When you have small children being struck and killed by racers, on a regular basis, the activities had to end.
The SCORE International series and Roger Norman in particular have become a major embarrassment for the Town of Ensenada, the State of Baja California and the federal authorities in Mexico City, the Republic of Mexico.
You
understand, any publicity mentioning Roger as a 'Tourism' functionary
were either paid for or produced by paid personnel of Roger, desperate
to spin his shit reputation.
Todays Racing News
We have reporters on the hospital scene and following the transportation developments of the activities from yesterdays mayhem. We'll have significantly more information on the confirmed damages by the end of the day.
If you have information that needs to be reported, please forward your stuff to our email, listed below. All confidential, all private.
Medical records law is much different here in Mexico, than it is in the states.
Race results, both unofficial and official will be reported out as we obtain them for publication.
Thank you for your patience and support.

Worth a thousand words, right? Way more than five-hundred!
SCORE Livestream Does Better
Since the early days of sal fish, rdc and bfgoodrich tires - lame, lame and lame attempts at trying their hands with Live! racing media, this event had the best livestream ever for a Mexican race event, over this past weekend.
That's not saying much. Except that it looks like SCORE has just started spending the type of money needed to tell the full, live event story.
But, here's the fly in the ointment, where is the start audio of the amazing Baja racing trucks launching into the race?
Why is that left on the cutting room floor both on the livestream and the cablecast or completely ignored?
What a loss, the medium that sets motorsports souls on fire, the sounds of the trucks 'exploding into space'*.
A vacancy that's costing hits, long term viewers and frog skins.
And fans.
*Steppenwolf and John Kay lyrics, "Born To Be Wild", Get your motor runnin' Head out on the highway Lookin' for adventure And whatever comes our way Yeah Darlin' go make it happen Take the world in a love embrace Fire all of your guns at once And explode into space".

Team Polaris Factory Racing led by Branden Sims (#2969) was all cheers and smiles in the Winners Circle Saturday night at the conclusion of the 54th Annual Score International Baja 500 Race. Sims, who is sponsored by Tensor Tires, and riding in his Polaris RZR Turbo R, took to Instagram yesterday after Score International moved his team from second in class to third after a technicality prevented his progress on the track (pictured below), writing: "๐๐ท๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ญ๐บ @๐ด๐ค๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ช๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ ๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ญ๐บ ๐ฑ๐ช๐ค๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ด๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ช๐ค๐ฉ ๐ท๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ช๐ค๐ญ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ฆ๐ช๐ท๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐ข '๐ต๐ช๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ค๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐ช๐ต' ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ด๐ช๐ต๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ข๐ฏ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ณ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐บ ๐ด๐ช๐ต๐ถ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ฎ ๐ธ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ 50+ ๐ท๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ช๐ค๐ญ๐ฆ๐ด ๐ธ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ด๐ต๐ถ๐ค๐ฌ ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ฅ๐ฐ ๐ข๐ฏ๐บ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฆ๐น๐ค๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ต ๐ด๐ช๐ต ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ธ๐ข๐ช๐ต. The Official Finishes page on Score's website (https://score-international.com/official-finishers-from.../) for this weekend's race show Sims place #2 in the Top 3 Overall UTVs ranking with a time of 12:05:21. However, the Official Results sheet posted June 5th at 1:06 PM does reverse this result to award previously third-in-class Brandon Schueler (#2919) into second place in the Pro UTV Forced Induction class with a time of 11:54:49 after a time credit of 25 minutes for "SOS Aid" that was necessitated after another racer exhibited signs of heat exhaustion while the race was stopped to attend to the emergency. Sims cited difficulty in the resulting bottleneck that occurred at RM 102. "This course was brutal," he said in a post-race interview. "By far the most brutal I've ever raced." After a devastating loss at the Supersport 300 World Championship in May that saw Sims and his Polaris RZR encounter significant rollover impact damage, he walked away uninjured vowing to rebuild his vehicle in time for the Baja 500, marking his first race since the accident. Sims, who raced without a co-driver for his team, is a two-time champion for both the Baja 500 and Baja 1000. The next race in the series, the 3rd Annual Score Baja 400 is set to take place Sept. 13 to 18, 2022. Score International has not released a follow up to Sims's request at this time. We will continue to update this situation as news breaks."
GHA RACING sez:
"We called Jose G and anube immediately... Anube's first response was; You guys sped not us, The file says you did... knowing we are EXTREMELY cautious on all speed zones, The Stella literally beeps and displays the speed + an audible alarm when you go over. We found out the exact section Which Tim Sletten was driving- He knew 100% this was false. We fought a bit more, Come to find out... the file they pulled was not even ours's and it was from November! I about lost my poop when i seen our DNF and penalties. Way too much effort to take a loss like that."
"Pre-results, official results. Protested results. Corrected results. Score published theyโre expectations for results for both unofficial and official on their pre-race communication".
"Unofficial means they can change. Official means they are final and will not change".
Here's the explanation from the organization:
"We were updating another item and accidently(sp) took the results down for a few minutes. They are back up. Official Results will be posted after the teams going to the Ensenada office or contacting the Race Director have a chance to review their penalties. I am not in the office for this race so I cannot give you a time at this moment. I will have them posted as soon as possible and I apologize for taking the down the unofficial results".
