Invitations for the 2023 Touring Year are now open to Latin America Adventure Teams

Baja Racing News LIVE! now reports that invitations for the '2023 Touring Year' are now open to Latin America Adventure Teams.
This singular decision by the federation has been in the works for many years.
Cabo Fishing Partners, of Los Cabos Mexico has been working tirelessly to bring our South American Brothers and Sisters north, to participate in sporting activities on the Baja peninsula.
Work began before the year 2000 and culminated in negotiations with the Amaury Sport Organization (A.S.O.) in Las Vegas Nevada, during a visit by it's president to the Vegas to Reno desert off-road race event held by the Best In The Desert racing association.
During those negotiations, the A.S.O. had targeting the Americas for "new roads".
And new off-roads.

While in South America for its run of events, the obvious commonality of interests, spurred further talks between regional organizations of the 'Latin American' states.
Over these years, the A.S.O. was sought to stay in the Americas and maybe, hold an event on the peninsula.
The A.S.O. is now firmly in the grasp of interests elsewhere.
That fact has been driving desert off-road event interests to a common unification.
Southern Baja Mexico has now taken the lead by holding the first federation meetings in Los Cabos Mexico, this week.
Even before the meeting was held, member organizations came to the conclusion to "immediately move forward with invitations".
From the just released Federation announcement:
"Southern Baja has shown itself to be a world-wide spotlight for desert off-road events and we intend to globalize this amazing place and the incredible people of Baja Mexico", said the president of the federation.
More news is forthcoming with the official gathering to be held this Friday, October 14 at Cabo San Lucas, Southern Baja.""
