NORRA AND MIKE PEARLMAN INDICTED IN BAJA MEXICO!
Here's the Official Statement: "Michael Pearlman and NORRA are hereby indicted by Baja California State authorities for allowing their drivers to participate in a driving event, under the influence, during the recent history of norra events in Mexico, which caused the fatal incident in last months Ensenada race event".

All these activities were race related. Therefore the organization and its owners and management has been found culpable and worthy of indictment.
First reports were that the driver "lost the brakes", other reports listed "driver heart attack". All lies.
Authorities arrested the driver Mathew Legg, found through testing, he had residual alcohol in his system and found him guilty of the accident.
He was a registered event participant and the people he struck, were also part of the event.
The victims, were his "support/chase team".
He paid a fine, spent time in jail and was released. This report came from the police department of Ensenada.
In
most situations that involve alcohol in Mexico, ones Mexican auto
insurance voids upon proof of alcohol use, abuse or even empty cans in
the sealed trunk of a car or the outside bed of a truck.

NORRA INDICTED! -- DRIVING-DRUNKS ON PARADE AT NORRA

This statement was posted after the driver was found guilty of causing the accident:
"The
first day of the 2022 NORRA 500 on Friday was overshadowed by a fatal
accident involving a competitor and a chase team. On the thirteenth
Route Mile of the course, a transit period along the highway from
Ensenada to Ojos Negros and near a garbage dump, the #1464 Unlimited
Truck of Matthew Legg lost its brakes and collided with a Ford
F-150 at around 9 AM. The accident resulted in the death of a boy
approximately nine years of age and his parents being hospitalized after
being assisted by the Mexican Red Cross. “Yesterday a NORRA race team
lost one of its members due to injuries sustained in a tragic accident
during a highway transit stage of the NORRA 500,” reads a statement from
NORRA posted Saturday. “Racers and teams are the heart of our extended
NORRA family. NORRA’s thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to all
involved.”"
