More information as it comes in.
###
***Bill Wiederhold was indicted in 2021, in association with Jackson Motorsports for gross negligence in the 2016 SCORE International Baja 1000 death of Mark Luhtala.
At this moment, BajaRacingNews.com reserves its full reporting, until after Wild Bill's internment.
However, the racing public needs to ready itself.
Bill Wiederhold told Baja Racing News,
"Frank DeAngelo, my boss, directed me NOT TO HELP MARK LUHTALA". Frank said at the time, SCORE OPS was in control of the situation".
"We discussed that Mark and his team were customers of ours (BFGoodrich Tires/MICHELIN) and we both knew we had a special responsibility to all of our customers."
Bill continued, "I was heartbroken, but ordered to stand down from the incident. I knew we could have saved his life".
Wild Bill and a former reporter for this newspaper held several interviews, AFTER the November 2016 death of Mark Luhtala.
The results of those interviews will be made public HERE>>> in good time. Stay Tuned!
