CABO 500 Celebrates the 2024 VOLARIS KING OF CABO Trophy History at Hotel Cabo San Lucas this weekend.
At one of the most prestigious resorts in latin america, a unique celebration is planned. After years of various designs, the original designer will be recognized.
Hector D. Torres, whose hometown was the capital of Baja Norte, Mexicali, designed and crafted the ironwood Cabo cactus original work, from 2004.
The journalist and artist, was named to the Baja Racing Hall of Fame, earlier this year. Hector, passed into Baja racing history last year.
The trophy was first announced and presented at the hotel on April 4, 2004 (4-4-'04).
