Arturo Salas 1x, reportedly has broken his femur prerunning San Felipe for the up comming SCORE Baja 1000 scheduled in days to go off from 'The Capital of OFF-ROAD', La Paz, Southern BAJA.

"About 5 miles in we found Arturo laying 5 feet away from his bike. We went up to him and said he broke is femur. Ended up making the best brace we could and threw him in the back of the prerunner.
Luckily one of our chase guys had an ambulance waiting so when we got back to the highway, Arturo just got in the ambulance. Then we headed back out and about a mile after where Arturo broke his femur, his friend was standing there looking at his bike. We stopped and he said he broke the master link for the chain on the bike and didn’t have an extra. So we threw the bike in the back of the prerunner and went 30 miles on course like that… brought him back all the way to San Felipe.
Overall was a really long a rough day but really glad we found them cause no one else had a prerunner capable of getting either one of them out. Heading back out to do some more prerunning today and hoping we don’t find anything else like that not looking for any attention this. just wanted to share how Arturo got out safely!!"
