*"I found out this morning in the email like everyone else, and I wanted to share my thoughts on this. For reference, I have been racing my whole life but this past KOH in 2024 was my first one and I raced 4600. I had problems with the car and didn't start the race, but I paid, went to the drivers meeting, etc so I think my experience is valid. First off, what is this charter for? Who is it for? Why are they doing it? They said they are doing 100 spots right now, which is a half million dollar payday for them. What are they doing with that money to improve the series? Charters work great is something like NASCAR, where you must be a charter holder to race, and charters hold value that teams can buy, sell, and profit off of. It is a great form of investment in the series. Ultra4 does not have this exclusivity, so where is the value in the charter? The fact that a charter grants you guaranteed KOH entry makes me think this whole thing is aimed at 4400 drivers because they are the only ones who have to qualify to race, and 4400 drivers are much more likely to have the money to justify this. Does this mean that if 100 4400 drivers buy it then 4400 will be an exclusive club like NASCAR? That would add value to the charter but it would be very bad for the sport. Exclusively has no place in this sport. Also, apparently charter holders will help govern ultra4, which means that if this is all marketed at 4400 drivers does that mean that they are going to make up rules for the lower classes as well? The whole title sponsor thing seems like a carrot on a stick to me, and I don't trust it works like they say it does. To pay 5k for a charter will not save a driver money over the course of 1 season with what he will save on entry fees. Is this 5k every year or is it a one time payment? Other charters in motorsports are a one time buy in but i feel like this is not. Why should we pay 5k a year to race in this series? As racers, we support the sport by showing up and paying our entry fees. We are the product and it is their job to sell us to investors, sponsors, and spectators. It is not our job to fork over more money on a bs charter to support their expenses. If they need more money they should raise entry fees, or at least be transparent about this. They need to be transparent about how they are charging us. Overall I am very skeptical and I feel like we are being mislead by this. I want more transparency from the Ultra4/Hammerking organizations."

"I only live like 5 minutes away. Was thinking of going. But I'm a l pissed at the organizers. Last year I was supposed to get a " locals" discount. Approx $30.00-$50.00. But they then charged my credit card $100.00. so over the course of two weeks I stopped into their Booth supposedly to talk to their gal at least five times and she was never there she never returned my calls and never answered any emails. So again this year they're supposed to have local discounted tickets, and all of a sudden within one day nobody has them they all say they're Sold OUT? HMmmmmm Yea Right. Not good business for the community that really helps get the word out and supports the event. I just had surgery and haven't worked for a month, so We woulda be kinda nice to go. But out of principal, I might just sit this one out. I don't need to walk into the Hammertown..I can drive right in any number of ways I choose through the mountains... I just don't appreciate being screwed out of $140.00. There's NO way they didn't get messages, They even left the gal in charge 3 ( post it notes) in her locker".

Today, I find myself in a bittersweet moment as I share with you a tough decision that we have made. It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to let go of our national off-road racing program, Ultra4 USA. Over the past two years, these racers have become more than just teammates; they have become family to us here at MAO.

We are incredibly grateful for the friendships that have blossomed during this journey. Through all the ups and downs, heartaches, and struggles, we have poured our heart and soul into every race, striving to develop this platform. It has been so rewarding to witness friends and families come together at each event, embodying the values that we hold dear for our own families. These moments are priceless, and we recognize their significance.

Our world is rapidly changing before our eyes, rapidly becoming unrecognizable. And honestly, I don’t like what I’m seeing. These are things that have made me question decisions I’m making. Just like each one of you, our family has invested significant time and resources into preserving these moments we cherish so much and have altered what we value the most in life. We also understand the desire to seek answers and move forward, as we have been on that same quest ourselves. This decision to move our program forward without Ultra4 USA has been the toughest one I’ve ever made in business.

Together with my family and our MAO team, we sat down and carefully analyzed what truly matters to us. We pondered on why we embarked on this lifestyle of off-roading, racing, and outdoor events. Ultimately, it has always been about doing this as a family. However, in my miscalculation of the time and effort required, we began to lose sight of that. It became apparent that, regardless of how much success or meaning this program held for us, it wasn’t worth sacrificing the precious time we were losing as a family.

I refuse to look back on my life with regrets, wishing I had done things differently. I am immensely grateful to my friends and family for making that clear to me. I had been missing out on the love and friendships that were right before my eyes. I hope this decision brings clarity as to why we have chosen this path.

Nevertheless, please know that our family and MAO team will continue to support Ultra4 USA to the best of our ability. Whether it means finding someone ready to take on the excitement and challenges of this program or returning it to its original foundation and creation with scammerking Dave Cole and Scammerking Productions, we will make decisions with the best intentions, always keeping you, the racers, at the forefront and priority of the program. This transition will not happen overnight, but we assure you that we will make it a priority so that you can all focus on your racing plans for 2024.

As we bid farewell to this chapter, we wish you all the best that life has to offer. Cherish the moments, embrace the friendships, and value the life that is right in front of you. Remember, as the great Albert Schweitzer once said, “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
