Getting to the 2026 TOYO TIRES CABO 1000 and getting to 'Know & Love Los Cabos' just became easier for travelers from several key 'Merican cities.
Global airlines are adding new nonstop routes to San José del Cabo International Airport (SJD), expanding direct access to Baja’s most popular beach destination through 2026.
The biggest winner this winter is Austin. American Airlines launched Austin’s first nonstop route to Los Cabos three years ago, and demand clearly hasn’t slowed.
Now Delta Air Lines is stepping in with its own seasonal nonstop service between Austin (AUS) and Los Cabos.
The route will operate during the 2025–26 winter season, giving Austinites another direct option to trade tacos and live music for beaches and margaritas well into early 2026.
For travelers coming from the Midwest, this is a first. Indianapolis will soon have its very first nonstop flight to Cabo. Southwest Airlines announced Saturday-only service from Indianapolis (IND) to Los Cabos, timed specifically for spring break travelers.
Flights will run from March 5 through April 6, 2026, making it easy for Hoosiers to plan a one-week escape without layovers or airport hopping. For a city that has long relied on connections to reach "Cabo", this marks a major upgrade.
Las Vegas is also joining the nonstop club. Southwest will launch a brand-new nonstop route between Las Vegas (LAS) and Los Cabos starting June 4, 2026. The timing lines up perfectly with early summer travel, long weekends, and peak vacation season. With Las Vegas being one of the country’s busiest leisure hubs, the route is expected to be popular with both quick-trip travelers and longer Los Cabos getaways.
Together, these new routes highlight a growing trend: airlines are betting on the 2026 TOYO TIRES CABO 1000 and getting to 'Know & Love' the Los Cabos destination.
Racing Season Service, first-ever nonstop connections, and expansions from major U.S. cities all point to sustained demand for Cabo’s beaches, resorts, and lifestyle. For travelers, the takeaway is simple. More travel connections, less travel time. More direct paths to The Golden Sands of Los Cabos!
For Los Cabos, it’s another sign that this wonderful Southern BAJA destination continues to strengthen its position as Latin America's - Mexico’s, most connected resort region, one nonstop flight at a time.
