BADASS BAJA BURN
racing sponsors Trigger Gumm announced in San Diego Today

San Diego, California (BRN)- SPEED Mex Racing Services announced Sunday afternoon at a beachfront press conference, in sunny San Diego USA, that Trigger Gumm has been chosen to be sponsored by the racing services division of Baja Safari Mexico Club, for the 2009 Baja 500, later this month in Baja California, Mexico.

"Our Baja racing program, Badass Baja Burn (BBB) for this years Baja 500 and Baja 1000 is meant to promote unregistered & unsanctioned Baja racing", said Steve Davidson, spokesman for SPEED Mex. He went on to say, "Trigger is too big too fail".

"We are seeking more racers to race like Trigger Gumm does in Baja. Race the big races, unregistered & unsanctioned like Trigger did at the Baja 1000 in 2007. We'll support these champion Baja racers." Davidson, continued.

Trigger, the Metal Mullisha rider was contacted by phone in Lusty Las Vegas this morning, was recovering from the first leg of the GUM BALL RALLY 3000, that ran from Santa Monica to Vegas yesterday. "I'm stoked to be chosen by SPEED Mex for the Baja 500 and Baja 1000 this year, Yeehaa!"

"From David 'The Hoff' Hasselhoff to Jackass's Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn in a custom BMW, sports legends Tony Hawk, Danny Kass and Dave Mirra in tricked out Jeeps, Chevy Trucks and Porsches, alongside Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs, British indie stars The Enemy, MTV's Dirty Sanchez, the hilarious Cuban Brothers and the fire-breathing Fuel Girls together with vintage rocker Lemmy from MOTORHEAD and Avenged Sevenfold, showcasing Bugatti Veyrons, Lamborghinis to low riders and classic American muscle cars are cranking the Gum Ball 3000".

They'll all end up in Miami in a few days. An MTV 'Nitro Circus' like reality TV show is being produced as the rally makes its way across the good 'ole USA. The one man nitro-circus Trigger Gumm is teamed with Bam Margera and a host of celebrity 'thrillbillies' on the Gumball Rally 3000 for the next eight days. The 'thrill billies' are a group of celebrity moto and off-road kooks, looking for fun on American television.

Steve explained the term, 'Badass Baja racing', "True Baja racers ignore silly swine flu warnings, because they don't care about spreading disease to their loved ones. True Baja racers dodge the bullets of Baja narco-criminals and they dredge the sex-legal cantinas of Mexico, all the while, off-road racing in the desert wilds of Baja Mexico."

Badass Baja racers will be in Ensenada, Baja Mexico at the end of this month, pre-running the same course as last years Baja 500. "Pre-runners", will be heading south of the border as early as next weekend, seeking Badass adventure. "SPEED Mex supports racers like Trigger Gumm with complete services too make their racing experience the ego-blowing time, Baja Mexico has been for many years".

Davidson warned the motorsports community saying the SPEED Mex sponsorships are open to all, but we want only the real Badass Baja racers! "'Badass Baja Burn', the BBB is the most interesting racing in the world".

Trigger last raced in the Baja San Felipe 250 last month, approved by SCORE International of Los Angeles, California, USA. The Baja 500 will be LIVE! WEBCAST by Baja Racing News.com starting on June 3-7, 2009. Pre-running coverage begins on June 1.

See Trigger 15x after crossing the finish line in 2007. He races with Sal Fish's blessing in the San Felipe 250, this year.
