Continued Reporting From La Paz: The race 'organizers' associated with this event has numerous charges against them. Salvador Carrillo and Norman Cesena have stolen the race winning money of numerous desert off-road racers over the years.
Including one American. In a 2006 racing event, Carrillo stole over $1,000 of race winnings from an American who won a southern Baja race. SCORE is very knowledgeable of these facts.
So, it begs the question, why is the American racing organization SCORE-International, the 'organizer' of the Baja 1000, 500 and 250 has been all cozy with the deadbeat scoundrels from Southern Baja, since the new management took over this year.
SCORE under Sal Fish had no relationship with Carrillo or Cesena.

In the racing competition, there were supposed to be safety signs and people guiding the races along the route. Reports indicate, the organizer failed to provide these services, at the turn in the race course, where the incident happened.
