Jimmie Johnson Joins Baja Racing News RADIO LIVE! Off Roader and dirt racin' lover, El Cajon California's own race champion five years in a row contract producing programming for online racing distributor.
The seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion said his 2020 media season start, after the Daytona race week will be his first real job, after racing in a long time.

Johnson, 44, has had media around him for years. Baja Racing News RADIO LIVE! reminded Jimmie of Hendrick Motorsports back in 2002, with lots of room for business growth.
When asked about the decision, he said: “I feel very, very good and it’s time to have some fun.” Before adding, “I feel very blessed and fortunate to have this opportunity … I’m ready.”
He said he was excited about opportunities to try different media, but wanted to start with something he knows, well. Jimmie mentioned he enjoyed reaching out via social media to produce off-road racing programming.
Johnson has always remained that humble, friendly ‘good guy’ from El Cajon, California – a popular kid in his small hometown outside San Diego, California, whose talent and focus has now made him the sport’s absolute greatest legend.
He said he did discuss business openings with a few other longtime BAJA Racing and NASCAR Hall of Famers before making his decision.
