NOW! LIVE! the Official Launch of the 2021 Ford Bronco,  The Two-Door SUV is unveiled here, First.

The 2021 Ford Bronco, the SUV, the first to be seen by the public is the two-door - full-sized - Sports Utility Vehicle.

The Bronco SUV probably won't use the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine found in the F-150 Raptor, and now, new information seems to confirm exactly this. The two smaller V6 engines are in the cards for the Bronco: a 2.7-liter EcoBoost and a 3.0-liter EcoBoost.

In the F-150, the 2.7L produces 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. In the Ford Explorer, the 3.0L engine produces either 365 hp/380 lb-ft or, in the high-performance ST, a meatier 400 hp/415 lb-ft. In the Lincoln Aviator plug-in hybrid, this engine is paired with an electric motor to generate up to 494 hp. Could this be an indicator that a PHEV version of the Bronco is a possibility? It wouldn't be the most shocking move since the all-new Ford F-150 pickup now comes with a hybrid variant.

The Bronco SUV should pack plenty of power, especially if the engines receive an extra electrified boost. It should easily outgun the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, which offers a maximum 285 hp. Although the base 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four should provide a more affordable entry point into the Bronco range, this rugged SUV seems deserving of at least six cylinders, which seems to be exactly what it'll be getting. The 2.7L engine will come first in September this year, while the more powerful 3.0L will arrive late next year.

Ford Motor Company has recently been reducing expenditures by streamlining operations and narrowing its product lineup with the key focus on passenger utility vehicles.

FORD has closed production facilities and cut jobs in an aim for a sustainable future and in India, the American manufacturer has joined hands with Mahindra under a joint venture company and the first product out of their partnership will be a C-segment SUV.

Globally, the speculations surrounding the return of the Bronco nameplate have been there for some time, over three years the project has been heavily teased.

Following the official confirmation, the new Bronco’s world debut has also been hampered by a number of issues including the health crisis. We had also informed you of the leaked images, specifications and details surrounding the upcoming Bronco offerings in recent press emissions.

The 2021 Ford Bronco SUV two-door has an appealing exterior with bold design elements and it rides on big off-road based tyres, hinting the possible good off-the-tarmac driving characteristics. The black pillars and roof give a dual-tone appearance to the Bronco and it also boasts slightly raked windshield, tall pillars and spare wheel mounted on the tailgate.

The FORD Bronco is closely tied to the Ranger, However, its plain the Blue Oval intends for the Bronco to be a stand-alone badging and imaging.

FORD Performance has a big problem racing.
The R version "prototype", failed BADLY in Baja last year and we'll be reporting FULL-TIME on this subject after the consumer unveil.

The Bronco racing emergency is still being investigated! Baja Racing News LIVE! will continue to post news relating to the 2019 Baja 1000 FORD FAIL, until the barrel is empty.

To make things even worse, the pandemic closed down all access to Mexico! For months, racing events have been canceled. The Baja 250, Baja 400, Baja 500. Now the November Baja 1000 is under threat of cancellation.

That's what you get when a racing sanction, SCORE, wants to get away from government regulations, responsible racing peer review and actual thoughtful racing operations!

These racing events are commonly known as "The Death Races!"

FORD Performance has chosen badly putting all of its eggs in the SCORE-Mexico basket until 2022, because there may be even more event closures and cancellations.

The New FORD F-150 was unveiled here on Thursday, June 25

The new Ford F-150 is here! We’ve seen numerous spy shots showing the inside and outside, and we’ve learned a fair amount through leaked information. At the end of May, Ford officially announced the reveal date for the new truck as June 25. And now, the automaker offers a teaser glimpse of the truck’s new eyes, posted right on Ford’s main website for all to see. The headlights and fog lights are trimmed with LED strips, and this intentionally blacked-out teaser highlights the LED treatment. It’s also a feature we’ve seen prominently in spy photos, and for that matter, we’ve pretty much seen the entire front end in spy shots. Ford hasn’t been shy about parading prototypes on public roads with just a basic camo wrap concealing design elements. We’ve seen various grilles and the new headlight shape all but exposed, and though this is a completely new truck, the overall approach – at least with exterior design – seems conservative.

Body lines on the raised section of the hood are pronounced here, and the LED strips follow rather closely to the outline of the fenders. F-Series fans who stare long enough at the image might even see shades of the seventh-generation truck and its squared headlights, produced through the mid-1980s.Once the light comes up, however, it will be a completely different story. Some have described the new F-150’s look as a cross between the new Ram 1500 and the previous-generation GMC Sierra. Inside, we’re expecting to find a very large touchscreen infotainment system amid a new interior that will be familiar to F-150 owners. Buttons and manual controls will still be prevalent for major functions, with digital instrument displays available on at least some models. Similarly, the powertrain should include turbocharged six-cylinder and V8 engine options with available four-wheel drive and a solid axle turning the rear wheels. When you have the best-selling vehicle in America, you don’t necessarily want to rock the boat but the next-generation F-150 will be the first to offer a fully electric model.

Right now, Ford is pulling the wraps off its new F-150 pickup truck. Launching a crucial new vehicle in the midst of one of the greatest crisis in our nations history.

Ford’s F-Series of pickups (of which the F-150 is the smallest and most popular) has been America’s best selling truck for over four decades. Two F-150s are sold every minute. “Any time ford launches a new F-150 it’s important, but now, more than ever, it’s critically important,” said Michelle Krebs, analyst at Cox Automotive. Pickups are money making machines for automakers, with much larger profit margins than other vehicles. That cash is crucial this year, so even if it’s not ideal timing, Ford can’t afford not to update the F-150.This hasn’t been an ordinary year. Figures out Thursday forecast that new vehicle sales will be around 25% lower in June compared to 2019. The market is recovering from a low in April, when much of the country was under stay-at-home orders, and millions of people had already lost their jobs or were worried about their income.

Automakers propped up the market with zero-percent financing deals, and offered online car shopping. Analysts now expect around 13 million vehicle sales, total, for this year, down from expectations of over 17 million.“We are in an unprecedented time, we have never had every car plant across the globe shut down before,” said Krebs. “In the midst of that Ford is launching one of the most important vehicles in the auto industry.” Ford went into the recession the U.S. has entered facing stronger headwinds than some of its competitors, according to Krebs. Its product line was starting to age, and its competitors, like Dodge, were angling for a slice of its truck sales. “We could see in some of our data the F-150 was losing some of its edge, especially compared to Ram,” she said. “Ford had such a big year planned for products, it’s under intense scrutiny,” said Jessica Caldwell, executive director of insights at Edmunds.

Tonight's other launch is the new Bronco SUV. “The market for this is right now,” said Ford CEO Jim Hackett in an interview with Marketplace in November 2019.

Have the truck and SUV markets shifted?

One piece of good news for Ford is that truck sales stayed relatively strong during the pandemic, even as consumers slammed the brakes on other vehicle purchases. Pickups sell well in parts of the U.S. that were less affected by lockdowns, so buyers were still able to get to dealerships. They’re also used by small business owners and other workers who simply need a truck, and who were able to take advantage of the incentives like seven years interest free loans that automakers were offering. Analysts will be watching tonight's unveil to see what improvements Ford has made to the F-150 to keep it competitive.

Increasingly interiors of trucks are important selling points. Pickups have morphed from utility vehicles where all that mattered was reliability and endurance, to status-vehicles with leather seats, large screens, and luxurious finishes.

Ford is expected to announce traditional engined and gas-electric hybrid versions of the F-150. An all-electric version is expected in a couple of years, to take on the promised competition from Tesla’s Cybertruck, and pickups from Rivian and Bollinger, two startups focussing on the electric truck and SUV space. It’s not clear yet that there will be demand for an electric pickup, but it’s another area where Ford can’t afford to be left behind.

With the F-150, Ford has to balance keeping traditional truck buyers happy, but also staying on the cutting edge in an increasingly competitive market.“It’s a very interesting time to be watching Ford,” said Krebs. “I won’t say ‘make or break,’ but they’ve got to get this right.”
