The Vegas To Reno Race Story 2020
TOYO Tires Bryce Menzies Killed the Five Hundred Mile Beast, that is the Vegas To Reno desolate desert off-road race course after passing other Trick Trucks that started before him.
In imposing covid-19 conditions, with no spectators along the course, with no race fans in town at continhgency, there was no contingency, what may become the new normal in desert racing.
One social event planned at the Sparks Nevada Nugget Casino, for Saturday night, August 15. The event was canceled at the last minute over an altercation between Nugget staff and a BITD racer, who refused to wear a mask in the casino.

The BLM and the State of Nevada mandated masks, social distancing and other measures on the second race of the season for Best In The Desert racing series, out of Las Vegas Nevada.
For only the second time, the racers, chasers and teams of desert racing jumped through hoops to keep their beloved sport, racing in the deserts of the American West.
The competition itself was merely the second headline in the longest desert racing in America, run every year by BITD, best in the desert racing association, for this covid-19 year of 2020.

Bryce Menzies of Las Vegas Nevada, is now in a dominating position, race ranking wise, to luminate his tire sponsor TOYO Tires. TOYO has now taken two desert racing national championships in a row, with Bryce's win here at Dayton, Nevada, three in a row looks like a lock.
