TONIGHT'S CELEBRATIONS!
By: Mike Gordon, Southern Baja Journalist
MARTÍN AVENDAÑO “EL CAGUAMO” 2023 TWO SEAS 500 TRIBUTE TO A GREAT PILOT
For many years the one that everyone expected to see, because nobody wanted to miss his duels with renowned pilots. His unmistakable and powerful Trophy Truck was the most awaited for the cameras, from which everyone wanted to keep memories in photographs or videos, because nobody can forget its spectacular handling. He was already an icon of our off-road, because on tracks and racing tracks no one will be able to forget his combativeness, since as the song says, he was the King of Trophy Trucks and that cannot be denied.
For this reason, in this 28th edition of the traditional Dos Mares 500, tribute is paid to remember the trajectory of a great Champion, a fan of off-road racing and many of us join that celebration. Due to that long history of spectacular victories that he gave the fans and to honor his memory, the Dos Mares was the best choice. And that the roar of the engine continues to be heard, through the gaps and the plains, that it weighs whoever weighs it.
El Caguamo will continue racing!
