On Sunday, October 22 we celebrate the "Dia de los Muertos Festival" at Downtown Oceanside, California, US.
On November 1st is “El Dia de los Inocentes” or the Day of the Children and also known as All Saints Day.
Thursday, November 2nd is All Souls Day or the actual Dia de los Muertos.
According to tradition, the gates of heaven are opened at midnight on October 31st and the spirits of children can rejoin their families for 24 hours.
The event consists of three major themes: Remembrance, Community and Celebration.
Some believe that the spirits come back in the form of the Monarch butterfly which come in droves to some parts of Mexico.
Our Remembrance, BAJA SouL, Celebrates those returning cherished spirits, our passed family members and our passed brothers & sisters in MotorSport.
