SCORE International racer Cesar Rocha, team number 119A, has passed away RIP, during Baja 1000 2024
Cesar Rocha was riding in a Tacoma pickup truck on highway 5 headed north just below where the course hits highway 5 at race mile 400. Rocha had just got off the quad and was moving to his next (racing) section and the deadly accident happened.
The truck Rocha was travelling went off the side of the road and into a guard rail.
The guard rail went through the Tacoma like butter.
Horrible accident, thoughts and prayers to the passenger, the racer, who is 'a banded racer'.
Meaning, 'his SCORE fees were 'paid up'. He should have been covered by SCORE's insurance and "medical protections".
Obviously not.
SCORE's promises on paper are not worth anything, it's a scam.
