POLICE USED 'Breathalyzers' ON RACERS PRIOR TO THE START OF THIS COYOTE 300 2016!
"To avoid any suspicion that the pilots involved in the Coyote 300
career lead their units drunk, this morning the transportation office of
the Municipal Police by Julio Cesar Mendoza Meza, applied by surprise
random operating breathalyzer. This area out of this popular competition, at kilometer 36 of the road north, then the symbolic start of the more than 100 competitors registered boardwalk area. The finish line "goal" of this race was "on the beach", at El Tecolote playa.
The operating breathalyzer is done in order to dispel any doubt or suspicion that competitors state incoveniente lead their units, given that in past editions career off road accidents have occurred with fatal consequences."

RACE RESULTS
'Rudy' Rodimiro Amaya Zamorano was the undisputed winner of the "Coyote 300", being the 4th. Off Road Championship race Baja Sur 2016, in a successful competition that brought together a number of runners, according to preliminary results released by the organizers.
In Class 1, Amaya Zamorano was the first to cross the finish line and get the checkered flag at the beach "El Coyote", making a time of 3 hours, 27 minutes and 14 seconds, reaching behind the duo of Carlos Olmos / July Miguel Herrera with 3: 37.57 and Victor Lozano Barreda with 3: 52.05.
Andres Ruffo in the Trophy Truck was the closest pursuer of achiever timing 3: 42.37, the second place went to Carlos Olmos / Enrique Murillo / Jose de Jesus Flores with 4: 21.41 and third was Enemesio Lopez with 5: 36.18.
In Class 2, the best was Juan Carlos de Jesus Jimenez with 3: 59.04, followed by Ismael Jose Vizcaino with 4: 10.02 and Ismael Rojas Sotres with 4: 24.00.
Alfonso Antonio Jaime Zelaya / Alfonso Jaime Tabasco conditions imposed in Class 8 to make a record of 4: 19.15, clinching second place Mario Hernandez with 5: 15.44 and third was Jimmy Diaz Trasviña with 5: 22.39.
In Class 17 which was the first place category nourished got Hector Olmos Ceseña with 4: 02.43, Javier Montoya was second with 4: 03.42 and third, Silvestre Arce Márquez with 4: 06.56.

Direct from La Paz, Baja California South, came the time and day awaited by racers and fans Off Road in Baja California Sur, with the celebration of the iconic race "Coyote 300", which will take place this Saturday from the km 36 and finishing at the beach "El Tecolote", which will be taking part 180 runners on motorcycles and cars. Yesterday afternoon and evening a party in our Malecón with contingency and registration of brokers, who will be seeking the first places in each of the categories as well as the drivers meeting was lived. According to the organizers of the Coyote 300 2016, they were enrolled and will take the green flag 40 motorcycles and 140 cars, the official start at kilometer 36. This after the Organizing Committee will abide by the provisions of the municipal authorities to not be made the symbolic start, so the official timed banderazo take place this Saturday at 6:45 for motorcycles and 10 am for cars 36 km. During the inscriptions gathered the best southern Baja Californios runners and two US teams, representatives of Sinaloa, Jalisco, Baja California and Nuevo Leon. It is estimated that the fastest runners embody the tour about, so the first bike will be crossing the finish line at around 11 am and the first car around 2pm. The organizers contemplated making the awards ceremony this Saturday at 9 am at the kiosk of the Malecon. Every time I view one of these local races, can't see why a push to throw out SCORE - in light of the ill feelings both North and South - and focus on a "BIG 3 SERIES" and to go after SCORE's current lineup of corporate sponsors.
